The Latest in Television FashionJohn Manlove Marketing develops new TV spot for The Woodlands Convention and Visitors Bureau
It's been a great month for TV production at John Manlove Marketing. We already have our Carlton Woods spots running, and now, we celebrate the start of our new spot for The Woodlands Convention & Visitors Bureau.
Just like Carlton Woods, this 30-second spot is part of an integrated marketing campaign. The "Fashions In Travel" creative concept also stretched across the state in print ads and online display ads. Our TV buy was targeted to the East Texas markets of Tyler, Lufkin and Nacogdoches. The spot is currently airing on NBC, ABC and CBS in these cities and their neighbors.
We’d like to thank the CVB for embracing our fun and memorable creative. Also, a special thanks to Zen Films for helping realize the concept in film!
Awards of All Sizes
John Manlove Marketing wins national Pollie Award, District Addy Awards, and local Biz of the Year.
Since the start of April, John Manlove Marketing & Communications has been honored to receive great awards from three great organizations. Here's a rundown:
Pollie
The "biggest" award comes from the Association of Political and Public Affairs Professionals (known as the AAPC). The AAPC judges political and public affairs advertising and promotion from across the country. Given the political weight of the previous year, the competition was stiff.
Still, JMMC took home a Bronze "Pollie" award for Candidate Logo. As part of John Manlove's 2008 U.S. congressional campaign, JMMC developed a unique logo that incorporated the two fundamental messages of John's campaign: he was a "business man" and a "man of faith."
District 10 Addys
After winning 14 awards from the Houston branch of the American Advertising Federation, JMMC was also excited to win another five awards from AAF – District 10. The district incorporates Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Texas.
JMMC won two Gold and two Silver awards for various aspects of Discover Our World, the hardcover book developed as a complement to Cameron's 2007 annual report. We also took home a Bronze Addy for our website for The Woodlands Country Club.
Pasadena Chamber 'Business of the Year'
As a Pasadena business for our entire history, it was an honor to be named the Pasadena Chamber of Commerce's 2009 Business of the Year. As John Manlove commented, "It is great to be a business recognized by a business organization."
